Third-Party Release of Goods Policy
Acuarela
At Acuarela, each piece is carefully sourced from independent designers and handled with intention. In certain circumstances, clients may request that an order be released to a designated representative, courier, or freight forwarder. By making such a request, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Authorized Release
You authorize Acuarela to release your order to the individual or entity designated by you. The designated party acts solely on your behalf and under your instruction.
Transfer of Risk
Risk of loss, damage, or theft transfers to you immediately upon authorized release of the goods to your designated representative, courier, freight forwarder, or carrier.
Once the goods have been released in accordance with your instructions, Acuarela is no longer responsible for the handling, transport, storage, or condition of the items.
Independent Designer Goods
Acuarela is a curated retail platform representing independent designers. We are not the manufacturer of the goods sold.
As such, Acuarela is not responsible for:
- Manufacturing or production defects
- Natural variations in materials or craftsmanship
- Design or construction elements determined by the brand
- Damage occurring during third-party transport or forwarding
- Alterations, wear, or misuse after delivery
Any concerns relating to product construction or manufacturing are subject to review in accordance with the respective designer’s policies.
Hold Harmless
You agree to release and hold harmless Acuarela, its affiliates, officers, and agents from claims arising out of authorized third-party release or third-party handling of goods.
